Post to Twitter for Twitter for Mac by Rafeed Chaudhury

Post to Twitter is a Safari 5+ extension for Mac users. This extension, coupled with Twitter for Mac, makes your Twitter experience on the Mac a whole lot better.

What Post to Twitter does:
- Installs a toolbar icon in the Safari browser, and once clicked on, you can post to twitter the current page you are on with a title and link.
- Allows you to post to twitter the current page with a title and link by right clicking anywhere on the page and clicking on “Post page to twitter.”
- Allows you to post to twitter a selected text that points to a link by right clicking on the selected text/link and clicking on “Post link to twitter.”

Facebook Neue by Milind Alvares

Makes Facebook useable. At least, that’s how I understand it. Milind’s pretty good at this kind of thing, so it’s probably worth checking out.

(And now that I’ve got this posted, I can reactivate Defacer, which removes most references to Facebook from the internet.)

readableWall by Jacob Isbell

Facebook recently made the text of people’s friends’ updates quite tiny. It is incredibly hard for both the young and the old to read friends’ feed now without being frustrated. readableWall solves this by enlarging only the text Facebook shrunk. Rest of the page stays in perfect order with absolutely no distortion. No more clumsy resizing of pages either!

Minimal NEW Twitter by Ryan Sears

I whipped up a quick little Safari 5 extension for those who have “New Twitter”. Here’s a rundown of what I removed:

  • Trends
  • Who to Follow (it’s called wtf in the code, LOL!)
  • The twitter app definitions
  • Your favorites/lists (open to change this)
  • Related tweets/trends when viewing a single tweet

Shellfish by OpenBits Software

Shellfish is an extension for Safari and Chrome that removes all sorts of “share this page” links and buttons. There’s no need to share, be shellfish!

Just what I’ve been looking for.

Facebook Quick View by GingaGadgets

Easily view your Facebook newsfeed, profile, notifications and inbox from any webpage.  Click on the Facebook icon in the toolbar and Facebook Quick View will appear in your browser window.  Click outside the Quick View and you are back where you started.  Quick View allows you to comment, like and much more.

My apologies to everyone who submitted extensions in the last few days; I’ve been lax in posting them, but they should all go live within the next twenty-four hours.
