Safari Extensions

What's Neue? by Connor Griffin

I have come here to redeem myself with another text replacement extension (the easiest ones to make). The last one I made was called ChalkItUp, and we can both agree it was pretty horrible. I liked it at the time, but looking back, that font is so ugly.

Helvetica Neue is a great adaptation to the incredibly popular Helvetica typeface, so why not make it default on every site? Well, like my previous safari extension, ChalkItUp (Which I have now “killed with fire,” as was recommended by the author of Safari Extensions. Since Helvetic Neue is an adaptation of Helvetica, I figured I would do an adaptation of HelveticaTheWorld.

I’m glad to see that my gentle chiding has had its desired effect.
